I bought these for basic crafts: elmer's glue + 4 year old boy + sticks = fun. Most of the sticks are defective in some way: completely warped, splintering, busted lengthwise. They are basically 85% useless and too much trouble to fish out the good ones.

It's almost like you have to really go out of your way to produce a product this bad but I'm sure it's just your typical half-assed made in China manufacturing.

My kid was excited to have 1,000 sticks to build with, make rafts, etc, and these need to be sent back.

I was looking for applicators for hair removal waxing. I didn't want to pay "specialty" prices for "sticks" so I got these. They work great. Perfect size for smaller areas, smooth and good quality. Save yourself some money, buy these instead of those in the beauty section.

I didn't buy these to use as a toy. But I'm certain that most of my mechanical aptitude developed during playtime, using dominoes and playing cards to construct houses, castles, and forts. I'd have loved to see what I could make with sticks like these.

Based on an earlier review, I thought I might have to throw away a lot of these. But the ones I received are straight and solid, and very uniform in color. I haven't had to throw away a single one so far.

I have a very large vegetable garden, and I start many of my plants from seed. I've tried other methods to label seedlings, but sticks like these labeled with permanent ink are the way to go.
