This is just what I was looking for. A nice color selection in a set that will last. These are similar to the ones I had in my classroom years ago--and I have never found anything similar that was a better value.

I purchase this for my two girls and they love the bright colors! It is a good value, I wish that the tray were stronger but won't drop a star just for that.

I have worked in pre schools & day cares. I have always LOVED the paints they used. Well now I am a "Nana" and this set of paints are better then what the schools use! The colors are very vibrant & you dont need a ton of it to get the awesome result. The only improvement would be to have the top plastic a snap on top. And a little thicker plastic. But for your blooming artist's (like mine) it is GREAT!

We were first introduced to these paints at a local art museum. They have a children's art studio and they had these wonderful paints. I thought they were brilliant and I had to get them. Why are they brilliant? The paint is in the form of these thick "cakes" that don't go gooey everywhere. The kids can dip and run their paintbrushes over these paint cakes and it doesn't make a huge hot mess. At the end of it all, you can rub the top layers of the cakes and it is as good as new. I find that those watercolor trays that you get from other stores go to fast. These paints are richly vibrant and the cakes last awhile. Great value!

I used these paints at a a workshop and loved the strong pigment and smooth texture of it. When I bought it, the product contained double of 2 colors. So I received 2 red, 2 whites, and was missing 2 other colors. Amazon was great about replacing the product. Also, the photo shows a paint brush with the product. It does not include that. I love the paints, but be careful to examine the product to make sure you get one of each color.
