We've bought the Klutz window art kit and this one by Creativity for Kids. This kit wins hands down. Much more paint included, you can make the window designs without the outline paint (which always runs out first) and it has a lot of neat go-along pieces, such as a jewelry box and necklace. My girls (5 & 6) love this kit and I'm buying another one!

This is an expensive kit that is not that fun. The outlining needs to be done 1st and takes a long time to dry, the instructions say 30 min, but ours took longer. Filling in the colors is tricky, the colors want to ooze. Then it takes longer than overnight to dry and when you peel off the window cling, if you don't keep it flat, it sticks to itself and all is lost :-(

The other tip is, a friend told me you can do the same thing with puffy fabric paint. The patterns are just slipped into 3 ring binder paper sheet protectors.

I could see a very detail oriented older child could really focus and make some of these creations, but it's tedious.

Got this for my 5 yr old for Christmas. She loves it and her friends love it. The only hard thing for the kids to handle is the time it takes to dry. It gives them a lesson on patience.
