These are sturdy hammers with very good surfacing ability. The heads are attached well. They are heavy enough to mark your metal without too much effort, but they are ergonomic and comfortable to use. Having the three hammers rather than the interchangeable heads was a plus for me as well. I was very happy with these hammers and the price is very reasonable too. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I ordered this set of hammers to use in a class I teach on cold connection jewelry techniques and surface texturing metals. All my students loved using them! The set gives the user a lot of options the tools are constructed well.

I ordered these hammers for texturing metal for my jewelry. When I received them, however, each hammer was so loose on the handle that you could actually spin it! I had to grab some electrical tape to secure these so that my hammer wouldn't flop all over the place. The hammers themselves are great, and this was a pretty easy fix, but it was still annoying that I had to do it.

These hammers are so much fun to use in the texturing jewelry class that I'm teaching. The kids can use it in their class also. Just remind users never to have fingers on the bench block that are holding the metal to be hammered. They might get hammered. It is easy to hold the metal with you fingers off the bench block. Or tape the piece onto the bench block, that will hold it.
