Nice results but I am still trying to get the hang of doing it correctly. I use the Sizzix machines and each one is a little different in using the spacers.

These are the LARGE set of Spellbinders Classic Ovals.Classic means that they are simple edged, no scallops, no designs of any kind. Just like the Standard Circles are just simple edged. You die cut a piece of paper with these and you will get a simple oval.
Going from the smallest die to the largest, the approximate sizes for the LARGE Classic Ovals are:
1: 1 x 3/4", 2: 13/4" x 1-1/4", 3: 2-1/4" x 1-3/4″, 4: 3" x 2-1/4″, 5: 3-3/4" x 2-3/4″.
I use them in a Sizzix Sidekick. You can use these dies to emboss as well, the embossing will emboss a raised up line (oval) around the edge of the cut. In my machine, you must remove the die and die cut from the excess paper, turn them up on the platform so the blade edge points up, make sure the die cut is still in the die, place 2 of Spellbinders rubber embossing pads on top and 1 cutting pad and run it through the machine. The die cut pops out and you have a lovely embossed oval.
I use Spellbinders dies a lot along with Sizzix, MFT and Topdog.
