I love this product. Unlike other hole punches that require a hammer, which I find an easy way to bang you fingers that way, the instant setter you just place it where you want the hole and push down on the top of it. No hammers needed. Plus with the seven different heads that it comes with you can not only punch holes but you can also smooth out edges on brads and many other metal objects for your scrapebooking needs. I have my neighbors all hooked on this setter, and they all used to use the one with the hammer. They will never go back.

I own a Hot Off The Press Home Pro Eyelet Setterit is okay, just one click and you set the eyelets, but it kind of deforms them a little, specially those with shapes like stars or flowers, I don't know if I don't use it correctly, but I tried many ways and my eyelets always looked a little funny and I lost several shaped ones that got so deformed I couldn't use them, and since I couldn't use it on the middle of a 12x12 paper I figured I would try a different setter.

The Making Memories instant setter is so easy to use and I love it because:

1. You can place your eyelets anywhere.

2. Even though it takes about 5 pushes to completely set an eyelet it is easy to do so, and I am 8 months pregnant.

3. The eyelets looks great, nothing is deformed, not even the cheap star eyelets I bought, it has different sizes so I can finally use those 1/4" mickey eyelets I bought on Disney

4. The case is pretty and organized.

I owned one of these years ago and made the mistake of donating it when the Crop-a-Dile tools came out. I owned both of those and they were a joke; having both broke within a year. Granted they are silent and good for people who can't push hard. You need to press hard on this one to set certain eyelets and rivets (the really hard metal ones), but if you find the aluminum ones, it sets them very quickly with little effort. I'm not wasting anymore money on the lastest and greatest. This one's a keeper.

This setter is a must must must have for any scrapbooker. So easy to use and no more mini hammers to deal with. Comes in a little tin case with a mat. Just push down 3 or 4 times and your eyelet is set.
