This is a great template in that it is very affordable and it offers a nice range of sizes in one template. I was expecting it to be a solid piece of hard plastic. It is actually a really flexible piece of plastic. I suppose that would be great if you were working on a curved surface. For using on fabric or paper on a flat surface, it is a little tricky. You have to be careful not to push against it too hard or the shapes can shift and distort a bit.It worked great for my project, but I was surprised at how insubstantial it felt. Also, my pencil strayed a couple times and I kind of dented it. It didn't affect the end result, but it also wouldn't have happened with a harder template. I would have paid a little bit more for something that would last longer.
