My grandchildren love ART, Drawing & Painting. I thought that writing on a large French door window would be fun. The Grandchildren had fun, but the window crayons are very difficult to clean. It leaves such a residue (especially red and black) on the window that it took a half roll of paper towel and alot of window cleaner to get the window clean. Did I mention that it stains the wood frame on your window or door? I like PAPER better! Much faster clean up.Best Deals for Crayola Washable Window Crayons; 5 Color Pack
I haven't purchased these from Amazon, but I have elsewhere...After reading so many reviews saying they are difficult to clean off of glass, and how much window cleaner and paper towel was wasted, I had to chime in.
USE DISH SOAP! I prefer Dawn. Get a sponge, put a little dish soap on it, get it wet, and squeeze it until it gets foamy. Wash the window/mirror/whatever. Use a DRY cloth or even paper towel to wipe it off. Don't try to rinse, or you'll have a whole different kind of mess on your hands! No, I have never had problems with the dish soap streaking, but if you do, just go over it with glass cleaner or vinegar.
Or use Goo Gone. Or rubbing alcohol.
You can trust me, I do this stuff all the time, I've been working with kids for over 20 years.

Many on here have written how hard these are to clean up. If you don't use any cleaner-but instead just use a dry cloth it comes right off! I use them in my classroom and they are great and easy to clean with a little elbow grease!I use these to showcase certain vocabulary words, concepts, and even draw pictures of topics we are covering in school.
