They are very strong with just enough flex. I had bamboo and they were terrible. I was always scared to K2tog with bamboo. Karbonz are very sturdy. The only complaint I have is the join isn't seamless. I get a little catch sometimes and it's a bit annoying. I am not sure I would buy these again for that reason. All in all they are a decent needle, but the join is a slight issue for me.Wednesday, January 29, 2014
Review of 6" (15cm) Knitter's Pride Karbonz Double Pointed Knitting Needles
I bought these needles after having problems with bamboo dpns grabbing my stitches and aluminum dpns dropping my stitches. The Karbonz needles are the best. I used them for knitting the heel on a pair of socks. The needles held the yarn firmly, but allowed it to move smoothly...didn't drop a single stitch. The needles are also very sturdy and not at all flexible like some of the thinner dpns are. No fear of snapping them in two.
