skinnier and smaller than other pastels i use, but are able to get smaller lines without having to break them up. Color quality is great, Not as many colors or as deep as schmincke. The box i could take or leave. I am using them more on the small projects i have because i like the compactness, next to the half sticks from schmincke. I still like them both and have both. 400 schmincke and 100 of sennelier. wait for the sales.
