This die cut is very difficult to master. Once you cut it out with your die cutting machine, you have to assemble it. It NEVER comes out looking like a pinecone. I'm very disappointed in this product. I expect more from Sizzix and Tim Holtz products. I've tried several times to get this right. So far, no success. I feel I wasted my money. I don't recommend this unless you can live with an imperfect result.

I was excited when I ordered this dies, but I have to admit it not only met my expectations, it exceeded it. It cuts like a dream. After buying this die, I found a video of Tim Holtz demonstrating it and to my delight it can also be used to make roses too. BONUS!!!

Love this die from Tim Holtz. Fantastic as always with Tim Holtz stuff. The pinecone can be easily adapted to make lovely rose-like flowers.
