I've only had experience with the black india ink variety of this particular brand, but I imagine all the colors work and feel the same.
One thing really, I noticed it has a tendency to gum up my nibs much faster than other brands. nothing proper care and cleaning can't fix, but still. I reccomend Speedball ink if you need something for use with a pen.
It does fine with brushes, however. It's a pretty good quality ink.I wanted to try these inks for a long time, wish I had also purchased a bottle of white ink now. These colors are brilliant, but I will need to blend them for the look I want. I am just getting used to them, and note that unlike opaque watercolors these are more like using dyes..as the darker color needs too be applied over a lighter color to modify it. I needed something intense and transparent for a project, so thought I would try these? I will still likely need to go over the inks with some paint to get the full range of effects that I am looking for. I do like these, but take some getting used to. They are permanent, once dry, they do not go back into solution, which is good for my project. Washes are best accomplished to wet the paper first, then stroke the ink in, or make a thinned color in a pan in advance. I'm working with them.
