This is a lovely set but it needs a cap on the top so the sand can never be spilt out. otherwise a lovely set.

Originally I was really excited to get this set, the packaging was fine however when I opened it out of the box it had several air bubbles in it. I took a chance on ordering this set a week before the wedding so no time to send it back and try to get a new one unless I purchase one from a store this week. I liked it because it had three vases to poor the sand and it was great way to have my daughter from a previous relationship included in the ceremony. I will probably keep this set the quality could be better and the rim at the top of the heart is very smooth it is sharp around the edges. I agree that this piece should come with some kind of top however it serves the purpose. overall I am not as pleased with this product as I thought I would be and based on the other reviews I wouldn't bother trying to get a replacement because it sounds like ill have the same problem anyway. I am hoping that once the sand is in there it wont look so bad. I have seen this same set at Joanne's craft store it was a little more expensive but I am going to see if there is air bubbles in that one if not ill buy that one and return this one. Hope this was helpful !!

These are exactly what I wanted. Quality is great. No breaks or chips in the glass. I'd recomend these to anyone wanting simple and pretty.

We used this set in our destination wedding in 2011 and, unfortunately the mixed sand didn't make it through the return trip. We tried our best to seal it and it still ended up all over the suitcase.

I bought this to re-do our sand on our first anniversary. Wife loved it and it is a good set to use.

I ordered this sand unity set but it arrived with several air bubbles in the glass and the top of the large vase was rough and uneven. Thinking this a one-time product poorly made, I ordered a replacement set. This set was of even worse quality. The top of the large vase was chipped and extremely rough; a person would cut themselves handling this. The smaller vases also had rough edges at the tops. Several of the vases had small fragmented fissures in the glass. None of these things happened in transit; the issues are with poor manufacturing of the product.
