These markers are so perfect and even come in color families so that you can blend easily with them. Sets are marked{A-D} so that if you buy a new set you can go by the correct set and won't have to worry about getting duplicating markers.

There are lots of sites out on the web that offer Copic classes online {some are free and some pay}, also a lot of crafting stores offer Copic classes as well. This way you are getting the full value of the marker by knowing exactly what to do.

Best paper is Neenah 80# white paper...best for copic markers

Amazon has this item listed as SKETCH markers, which is what is in the title, but these are NOT SKETCH markers. They are the original square style. If you look close, the image shows stamping and sketch on the front. (The title and image do not match.) To me stamping and papercrafting are the same. I just figured a name change came about.

The Amazon rep told me I had ordered the correct set (Sketch), and that they had sent the wrong stuff. (As I already knew.) The rep had me reorder them, and promised they would be correct this time. I just hope the replacement set is correct! This is a Christmas present for my wife!

I would skip a rating on these, but it won't let me. I put 5 stars since Copic markers are good markers, even if it is not what I ordered. It is not fair to have the product suffer for a simple mistake.

I am waiting (praying) for a refund from Amazon and my correct replacement set.

Amazon:

It is hard to pick such an expensive item with such poor quality images and information.

Please provide a top down shot on the Copic markers, that way we can confirm what style we are buying. (Providing the image is correct!) A good shot of the front (Colors) would be nice as well. A text color list for each set would be nice. These changes would allow customers to confirm the style and the colors on the box with what is listed in the description.

The quality of these pens is great. I am using them for coloring stamped images for card making and have been very happy with the results. I ordered the Memento tuxedo black stamp pad for stamping the image, which works great with these pens. I've found it is also important to use a good quality paper I use Whisper White card stock from Stampin' Up.

The Sketch Papercrafting Set of 36 pens is a good starter set, but I am finding I need to order additional colors for shading. I would definitely recommend the Sketch pens for card makers. Get the largest set you can afford!!!
