For kids paints, it's great. For college, not so much. When you put these against a Yasutomo ink stick, it's a clear sight as to which is better quality.
That said, my wife showed me how to grind these things so you get strong color. The problem is the pasty dry that happens when the color is strong. If you like this pasty type of dry, then you'll like these. Otherwise, stick to Yasutomo.

received these ink sticks very quickly & well packaged. however, the little box they come in was a bit broken. the sticks are fun & work best with a grinding stone. the colors are not true to the picture: red is really more like an orange. otherwise, would highly recommend.
