This is the first crewel work I've done in years. It is well laid out and the finished product is beautiful. It is a very happy design so it was comforting to work on. I am busy with familly ALL of the time, so I decided to get back into crewel work for ME time. I'm so glad did! If you are a beginner, you might want to try a simpler/smaller kit, otherwise this was fun and easy. Highly recommended!

At first when I saw the picture of this item, I thought, what a beautiful gift. Well, I'm going to finish it for my granddaughter for Christmas, and I'm sure she'll love it. The directions are very explicit and easy to follow, can't wait till its completed and have it framed.

I was confused with the black areas on the cloth where the picture is, while on the color picture there colored areas....Will do it the way I want it to look.
