This is a book of engraving art pictures. No experience or talent necessary! I'm 54 and find these very relaxing and satisfying. I have NO drawing talent. This makes me feel creative and like I've really done something pretty. I first tried one of the smaller kits found in craft stores for a buck or two. After that, I was hooked. As I probably won't be hanging my artwork, I like doing it in this book. I may even give it to my Grandson when he is a little older (3 now). It takes a little practice to get the scraping technique down. But, I find myself hooked on it for hours! I plan to get the other books in this series, too. I've already done 2 pictures in this book this week.

The book also contains information about the animals in the pictures. So, it's educational as well.

I would recommend this for children who are artistic from about age 10 and up. Or, for adults who WISHED they could draw, paint, etc. of any age.
