As far as their practicality, I see some room for improvement. They arrived in an envelope, (not from Amazon) and I could hear them shifting in the package, so they come in a bit of a jumble with no indication of the size of the rings. It would have been nice to have some sort of a tray with size markings or at least to have markings on the rings themselves. As it is you have to measure the rings if you have a specific size you want to use or if you want to return to one you were using. I have spent my morning marking the rings for size so that I could easily access them for the project I am working on. They are pricey enough that this doesn't seem to be asking too much.
Secondly, the package states that there are 20 dies, starting at 1/4 inch. In fact there are 21 dies starting at 1/2 inch going up to 5 1/2 inches.
They seem to cut well. I may be expecting too much since I am new to the die cutting world, but at least the product could be described properly on the package.

I bought this for cutting wool felt. I just shim them up with a single piece of cardstock underneath the die on my sizzix platform and they cut perfectly. With acrylic felts you may need to cut cardstock with the felt as the previous reviewer suggests. However, unlike the previous reviewer I did received mine in a sturdy plastic retail package. They have worked better for me then I even expected them to.
