The ruler was not square... it sloped on two sides and did not cut straight. Very frustrating because this was my first rotary ruler and I ruined a lot of cuts because I thought it was user error. Amazon took the return, no problem, and I was able to purchase an Olfa ruler like my rotary mat. Perfect cuts. I prefer Fiskar scissors over their rulers.
