These needles were given to me as a gift from my wish list. The bamboo needles are sharp and smooth. The cable is very flexable. They are a joy to use. The cable is long enough for magic loop knitting, but I like the length for regular knitting since it does not curl as bad as shorter more ridgid cables. Also I love the size stamped on the needle.

I wasn't expecting uber fancy needles when I purchased these. But I wanted to grow my circular stash and this grouping was perfect for that, especially since it had the smaller needles that I tend to use more often. Most set's don't have the smaller sizes (4-0).The connector's are great, they don't coil. It seems to be some sort of tubing, instead of being solid, it's empty inside. What ever it is, is soft and easy to work with. I agree with another reviewer that said it can be a bit "sticky", meaning the yarn tends to stick and you have to move it around the circular by hand more, but I think with more use that will change.
The needles are decent. Because I was working with the size 0, the needles tended to bend. I'm a loose knitter, so if your a tight knitter, you may not want to work with the smaller sizes of these needles. If they do break, I'll buy the more expensive brands for each individual needle. Once I know I'm going to use that size more it makes sense to buy the more expensive brands.
Would I buy them again Yeah, I would.
Would I recommend them Yes, as long as your not expecting luxury. Definitely as a starter set or a gift to a new knitter, until they know what they like.
I will say that one of the needles had an issue; the tubing broke where the needle and the tubing meet. They replaced it with out question, hassles and very politely. That makes me even more pleased with this purchase!

I waited to write my review until I was using these needles for awhile. I've been using them (mostly 1 or 2) for 7 months now, and I love them. I was really unsure, because it was such a great price, as to the quality I'd get. These are PERFECT for magic loop--the cord is a hollow plastic with nearly no memory to it. I love the price...the needles.... but my God the smell is so horrible it makes me feel sick. Please if anyone knows how to get rid of the smell post a review to help me. I have tried everything. I soaked the tubing in a vinegar and water solution..nothing. I put hand sanitizer all over them...nothing. I will not be able to use these until I get rid of the smell. I like these..I know they get slammed because they're not super expensivwe....so what!!!! It's nice to have all of the sizes at yr fingertips!! If the plastic breaks at the needle...big deal, peel it off, heat the end with a hair dryer...slide it back on!!! works great!!!The yarn slides great..very easy..I like them!!
