Royal Langnickel Gold Taklon Paintbrush set-value pack-round-5 pack is a great choice for inexpensive paintbrushes for those who while away their hours painting until their hearts content...I am an amateur painter and I am learning a great deal about having the right paintbrushes to paint different things. I paint mostly paint by number kits but also gnomes whose paint has long since dulled. The paint kits usually come with one scrawny little paintbrush and if you used that one scrawny paintbrush for the entire picture-it would be ratty by the end of the picture. I have purchased a number of paintbrush sets and I am most pleased with this set and plan on purchasing more for myself. Most of the other sets have gone by the wayside because they did not hold up.
I liked the variety that this set has as opposed to the others-these will take you through the entire painting as opposed to 1/4 of the way through. A great bargain for a small price!!!

The brushes are great until you wring out the water after cleaning with your fingers to make the bristles straight. The whole brush and ferrule pulls off of the handle. It's easy enough to glue it back though.

These brushes are ok, not great but not the worst I have used either. I did have some shedding and the paint or wood on the handles has been chipping and flaking off after washing these brushes. I will probably not purchase these again.

I like to paint really fine details but even my smallest brushes weren't small enough. These were the smallest brushes I could find. They were affordable and come in a reusable zipper pouch.
