I have been painting for over forty years and these are the worst brushes I have ever seen. Yes the are cheap but save your money. There are some low priced brushes on this site that are good buys. These are not. They were shaped at manufacture so that although they hold paint the release it in a random way. If you want useable low priced brushes look at the Lowe Cornell 659 set here.

I am not experienced with ox hair brushes, but John Pike uses them in his watercolors, and he is, after all, famous. Looking forward to learning. Arrived on time, and in great condition. Price is just right.
