I don't understand the other review since the sizes are given in the product description, but in case anyone's computer doesn't show that frame there are nine sets of needles, sizes 4 through 11.

I bought the 5-inch DPNs, and they are so fantastic. The weight of them is very nice; they're a little heavier than the aluminum needles I buy at the craft store, but not uncomfortably heavy. Also, they are SO smooth. The yarn slides on them without a problem, which is something I really value, and why I don't use bamboo needles. The smoothness of these needles lets you pull the yarn really tight without making it difficult to slip the stitches off, which was really great with DPNs so you can pull it tight to avoid the ladder problem between the needles.The only reason I took a star off was because the soft plastic case the needles came in was torn. It would actually be a pretty decent case; it has divided slots for each set of needles, and an additional pocket that I use for notions, and then it snaps shut. But the top corner of the flap that folds down to shut the case is torn, and so the needles slide right out through it, which is the opposite of what it's supposed to do. The needles are the important part, and they're great, but I would have really liked for the case to be in good condition. This might just have been the one I got and the other ones are all fine though.
All in all, these are great needles and well worth the price. I'm looking into buying a set of straight needles as well.

I just got my shipment today, just the case alone makes you want to knit, (black, with a nice lace like, slick design ).With much anticipation, I open my package, pull out my size 10 and started to knit. I was in heaven. The needles are fast, slick, buttery and sharp enough to pick up the yarn but not sharp to perforate the skin.
I have a variety of needles clover bamboo (and a few other cheap aluminum) which I thought were good; however, at times they make some yarn difficult to work with. Now that I have those state of the art Nova Pride straight needles (The only draw back, they're a bit heavy), I am in knitting heaven.
I just wish I had the exposure I have now, because knowing what I know now, I would not have had spend the money on those other needles. (I did not know any better, I forgive myself). I guess call it part of the learning experience.
Whether you are serious about knitting or just knitting as a hobby, it is worth it to spend the money in some good needles (it could be Addi, or Knitter's pride. For interchangeable get Addi click. I have both, I prefer Addi click. The screw comes loose with knitter's pride; if you are not careful. You may lose your stitches). Don't torture yourself. You know the saying "you get what you paid for". Those needles are the best!
One thing for sure, my cheap clover bamboo needles will be put to use when I am getting on a plane. God forbid I am asked to leave them behind at security check-point.
You will enjoy your knitting much more if you get some good needles (Knitter's Pride or Addi); consider it an investment to the enjoyment of your craft.
