The i-rock is a really fun tool to add a little bling to paper. I have not tried it on cloth yet, but I can see several uses for adding some holiday glitz. Getting a tool that actually worked proved to be quite a chore. When I bought my first i-rock, I also bought a few packages of gemstones, which I promptly took out of the packages for closer inspection. Had I not opened everything, I would have given up on the i-rock. The first one didn't heat at all, so I returned it. The second one failed to turn on. After my second trip to the craft store, where the i-rock was sold out, I found a tool at another store. The third time was the charm. So, my advice would be, take AA batteries to the store with you, and don't leave the parking lot until you test your i-rock. It is a fun tool, but I probably would have passed on the i-rock if I had known it would take three trips to the store to get one that works.

Received product today and it is junk. It does not turn on, the button fell off and my batteries got stuck in it. Don't waste your money. Sadly it is going back.

It quickly and easily attached stones to a new quilted bag I bought to store my ipad and then to the outside of a new computer bag. Stones are secure and look awesome! HIGHLY recommend!!!

I like the previous commenter had issues with the first one I bought not working. I took it back and got another one. That one didn't work. Instead of going back to the craft store, I called the company. They said they had issues with the first models not working. They apologized and asked for my mailing address. They sent me a new one! I've had mine for several years now and I love it. I use mine for adhering bling to cards I make.
