These needles are very nice and work well for fast knitting. I would probably not want to use them on lace weight yarn since the points are not extreme enough, and they might be too slippery for ME, anyway, to use with lace weight. But for sweater knitting using any weight yarn, even sock weight, they're very smooth. My long-time favorite needles were a set I'd purchased in Holland. I hadn't found any that were comparable until these Knitter's Pride Nova Single Points. I'll buy more of these and will look no further.
