There are some limitations to this set that you need to be aware of before you buy. They are plastic needles, and everything, including the connections, are plastic. This is why they are so affordable. The connections are made by twisting the needles and cables together, and the connection locks by way of a little protrusion that fits into a hole. The join is smooth and flush, so nothing gets hung up on it. But since it's plastic, you have to consider that it probably won't last forever. Also, you have to be careful not to twist your needle or the connection may come undone.
If you are a tight knitter, you may not like these as much as slicker needles. I am a rather loose knitter, and I prefer these to the slippery aluminum needles most of the time. Also, I think if you knit tightly, you may find the connections come undone more often.
That said, these needles are very well made, they have very comfortable points, they are warm to use, and they feel "creamy" to me. I like them very much. I also bought a crochet kit and have done some "hook knitting" using a crochet hook on one end and a knitting needle on the other. This works great for knitting novelty yarns that can get hung up on the needle tip.
This is a very versatile set and well worth the money. Within its limitations, this set certainly deserves five stars in my opinion, and I'm not paid to make this review nor am I connected in any way with the company.

I like these needles, but they are not meant for small projects in the round. The cable isn't flexible enough to perform the magic loop method. With that in mind, I do love this set for all other projects! I've even been complimented on "whipping out my needle kit" haha
