I bought these on a whim, they seemed to be what I was looking for, but I couldn't find many reviews on the product. Well now that I've got them, I'm totally sold! These things are just what I was hoping they'd be. They cover fantastically, and can easily be painted over with a single layer of regular acrylic paint if necessary even the metallic colors. The tips are wider than what I was hoping for even using the thin edge I can't get a line any finer than if I was using a regular-sized Sharpie, but there are finer nibs from this brand available that I plan to try out. The paint goes on very smoothly and evenly the first time, so I don't have to attempt to re-trace my lines(which would be disastrous.)The only problem I've had with any spottiness in the coverage was when I was using the very corner of the pen, as opposed to the entire edge(which you aren't really supposed to do, anyway), the paint may 'dry out' on the corner, and you'll have to press it to get the paint running again. When using them normally, this has not been a problem. It also seems to dry faster than normal acrylic paint (which dries very quickly, anyway). You won't be able to smudge or blend the lines you make with this pen at all, as it seems to dry almost instantly. This is good because smudging your lines accidentally isn't a problem, even if you're a clumsy crafter like me! The paint from these markers has a slight sheen to it when compared to normal acrylic paint, so if you're using these to outline or embellish something that has been painted normally (as I have), you will be able to see that the lines from these pens are a bit shinier than the rest of the piece if you look closely. This doesn't bother me at all, but it should be noted. I love the color selection in this pack, too it was exactly what I needed for my current project, and the colors are very true to the caps. Though I now feel the need to get a wider range of colors and widths of these fantastic paint pens, I am very satisfied with my purchase!

I can't say yet how well they hold up over time. I'll check back in after these pens have been laying flat in my art bin for a while unused to report on how well they stay 'fresh' or if they dry up or leak. So far (it's been a couple of weeks) so good! I also have not used these to cover, only to outline and embellish on top of existing paint. I'm curious to find out how well they can fill in a larger space, and also how well they work on an un-primed surface.

These pens work ok depending on the craft you are doing. For more intricate work, they can run. Silver and gold not as bright as I expiated

Glad I got them! The nub pulls out and can be either normal pen or calligraphy style. I have to write more so here it is.

Had students use them to decorate shirts. You need to shake the pen a bit and press on the tip to get the ink to flow, but they work. The tips do feather after a while if you press too hard, and they aren't fine tips. They do not come out very metallic-y on shirts so keep that in mind. On paper, I don't know, but I think the ink flows too much like paint to be used on regular paper. Probably good for poster board.
