These are definitely worth the price, I used these to a paint a set of miniature models and they did the job very well. I did not use the paint set that came with the brushes so I don't know of their quality, but the brushes are of a good quality. These are of better quality than the brush sets sold at Wal-Mart or other retail stores, and should be around the same price range. One weird thing is, the brush + paint set is currently cheaper than just buying the brushes without the paint tube set.
