the box that came actually has a size on the top left that says 2.5" i just wish that Amazon.com actually included that in the description. someone previously commented that the heart was 3" but it's not the case. so i wanted to include that this item (MEGA punch) is 2.5 not 3.

It would have been nice if I knew the size of the heart before buying. The heart measures 3" across and 2.5 from top to bottom after you punch it out. The punch itself is a bit bulky, but what do you expect. It works very well, but I haven't worked with it that long. Was shipped and packed very well. Arrived promptly.I haven't used this punch yet. The similar scalloped heart punch works well, so I assume this one will as well.
