I just received my new set of copics!!! The shipping was fast and the item was way more then what I expected. After using prismacolors for years I am now a convert to Copics!!!! They blend so well and are so vivid! I am amazed at the quality and the different techniques you can use. It is almost impossible to blend the prismacolor markers they work well for technical work, but for anything with people and landscapes copics are the best! I got the 72 set A to start it seemed like the best starting point, but I am going to purchase the set B and 36 pack of E to finish the collection of ciao. I will move on to some sketch to fill in the color gaps the ciao has. They are expensive but any real artist should invest in these. It is also nice they are refillable and you can purchase new nibs!

This set is a great starter set because it has a wide variety of colors. They blend great and are easy to work with. 1 Blending pen is included! If you have very specific projects, or you taking a class you should check to make sure all the colors you need are included. For example I wanted to take a skin and hair class and it only had 1 of the 3 skin colors my teacher wanted me to have so I had to purchase 2 more markers.

When I order this marker set, waited ~ 1 month, still not shipped. I was told it's out of inventory, I have to cancel it, and order from a different vender, pay a little more. When I search the marker again later, the same vender ( 1st one) still has the same set of marker available.

I took 2 months for me to get this for my daughter. she's happy with the marker, but not happy for waiting so long.........

I love these Copic markers and I especailly love the Ciaos. These markers are great for coloring anime / manga artwork.
