This will be placed in a collection for me to use later. I am sure it is a great tool and I I really like Wilton products.because I know I can count on them. I watched my mother during my growing up at home make numerous cakes for others and I really enjoyed it.

The threading on these is more pronounced and wider than the old school piping couplers. They are much easier to thread over a plastic piping bag. The best part is the cap included in the package. They did take forever to arrive, considering I have prime. They didn't ship for two weeks.

I haven't used this for frosting but we use it when we make donuts. We put our dough in it so that it is easier for us to fill the round cavities of the donut machine. We don't use all of the dough each round so it works great to put the cap on it so that it doesn't ooze out. It is well made and seems to be very durable. Would definately recommend.
