I haven't purchased much embroidery floss but the quality seems really good, very silky. What you are supposed to get in this package is 2 of each color. I was a little disappointed when I received mine and 2 of the pink colors were missing, replaced by two of the green colors, so that I had four greens and no pink. Other then that I'm very happy with it.

In general, I prefer to order these one skein at a time, because they are a wonderful solution for adding some zest to a monochrome design. However, I do not have access to these colors in person. Ordering the DMC variations sets allowed me to have a general library of floss on hand so that I can do floss tosses on my selected fabric and make choices about what colors to use on those designs.

Haven't used this yet but got it right away and the colors are great it seems like good stuff!
