I love this brush carrier/holder! It is great to travel with or just keep your brushes in. It folds flat so it doesn't take up much space in a bag. It can hold a lot of brushes-more than it says, depending on the thickness of the handle. I can fit 2 or 3 brushes in one slot so that's why it can hold a lot of brushes. Also it folds another way. When you open it (like a book)just fold the back down, pull the drawstring cord and hold it in place by the little drawstring closure it stands up on a table or desk. That's the coolest feature! When I took a painting class, I could just stand it up on my desk next to me as I worked at my easel and pull out the brush I needed right there. When the class is finished, I just fold it up and I'm on the go again. I also have another one made to hold larger or longer handled brushes. That one is made by Alvin company. I think this is the best holder/carrier, since it folds flat for travel and stands up on a table. The kind you roll up the brushes are also good, but I think they may take up more space since they can't be flat enough, and they can not stand up.

My daughter and I paint faces (& do other art). These are wonderful for several reasons.I bought 2 of these and loved them so much I bought 3 more...and yes, I have a ton of brushes. I have a lot of money invested in my brushes so protection is very important. I am very picky aout my bristles! These are easy to carry, take up little space and will keep your brushes in order. My brushes are so easy to set up with these holders. You just open them up, fold the top back and it becomes a brush easel. I don't have to remove the brushes to put them in a different container. I love that the brushes are all standing tall and easy to see what I want to select and use. They are easy to wipe off. They are sturdy and well padded. I have not found another product to compare for travel, protection and ease of use!

When my roll-up makeup brush case started to fall apart, I spent a long time searching for a new one. I was never happy with the roll-up design--it was awfully awkward to get brushes out when you need them. The cup and carousal designs required that you leave them out, and I like to be able to tuck them neatly away. I don't recall how I got the idea to use a something made for paintbrushes, but it's been AWESOME.As the other reviewer mentions, it doubles as a stand in addition to a storage case. As a stand, it has cut down my makeup time, not to mention making it much more pleasant. As a case, it folds up slim and tidy for home storage and travel.
Truly fantastic product. Highly recommended.
