I own a small glass etching business which focuses mostly on drinkware and Christmas ornaments. We have been using Armor Etch for years, as there is no alternative in our area. Recently I was at Michael's and they were out of AE, but I discovered Martha Stewart etching cream. We could not wait to buy our usual stuff, so even though it was more expensive, I bought Martha Stewart. I am so glad I did! It does not have any of the problems that AE does. There are no unetched spots which seem to appear when we use AE because of crystals that are in the cream. Also, it offers a significantly smoother finish. There are no brush marks which we frequently see with on our other works. The smell is even far less offensive. Might be more expensive, but is well worth the investment!

Need I say more. I love working with art on glass and am a novice at it. I followed directions and it worked well. Not perfectly on my first try but easy to work with.
Best Deals for Martha Stewart 4-Ounce Glass Etch Cream with Brush
This is my first time using Martha Stewart Etching Cream like another reviewer, I have always used Armour Etch. I thought I'd try the Martha Stewart version since I like the idea of having less odor...but after three tries on three different pieces of glass, I simply cannot get this stuff to work. It seems very runny, not pasty like the Armour Etch that I'm used to, and is sort of an icky brown color. I could get over the runniness if it actually ETCHED, but there is literally not a scratch on any of the glass I tried to use this product on. Since everyone else loves it, I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but this particular bottle is definitely going in the trash. Bummed. :(
