The cable connectors are great items to extend the cord length. I recently purchased these items and found the connectors are easy to screw together and lock with the cord key. If you enjoy working with interchangeable needles on various projects as I do, I highly recommend that you include a set of cable connectors in you kit.

I use Knitters Pride almost exclusively. I do have some Addi needles that are also top of the line, but Knitters Pride is less expensive than Addi and I love the Knitters Pride Cubics nickel plated interchangeable needles. I buy extra cables and use the caps to store unfinished projects with just the cable.

I have wanted a cord this length to go with my KnitPicks brand interchangable circular knitting needles, but KnitPicks does not make one this size. I had read online that someone said the Knitter's Pride cords fit with the KnitPicks needles. For $4, including shipping, I thought it was worth the risk and it is perfect! It seems almost identical to the KnitPicks cords, except that it is black instead of purple. Just as flexable, and made to fit! I am very pleased and am ordering a second one!
