You get a lot of really useful dies with this set, so I am impressed with the value here. It's beautifully designed and I know I'll be using these flowers and branches in a lot of different ways. I have a Silhouette and a Cricut so I don't buy a lot of dies -they're convenient, but the size limitation thing is the downside -but just had to have this set and I'm glad I went for it. The scale is perfect for cards. The cherry blossoms depicted here are actually more like plum blossoms, and in Chinese art, the plum blossom is the symbol of victory over hardship, because traditionally the plum tree blossoms in February while it is still snowing. That's why it's the national symbol of Taiwan, and if you have visited there, you know plum blossoms are on everything from public buildings to taxicabs. I'm not a scrapbooker, but if you were making a card for someone who is going through a bad time, this would be a lovely symbol to incorporate into your artwork. The branches could be used in a lot of different themes, and there are lots of fun ways to layer these flowers, crunch 'em up, and make them more 3-D. I know these dies are kind of expensive, but this set is really worth the money.
