I bought one Galaxy marker to test on the cover of a journal I purchased. The journal had a black fabric cover and I wanted something I could use to decorate it. The Galaxy Marker worked great. With one pass you could see the color and multiple passes just intensified it. If you are looking for a pen that will show up strongly on dark backgrounds, this is it.

Be aware as you purcahse these markers and additional packages of galaxy markers on this site. They have different names/descriptions and differing ASIN numbers but they are the same. These are interesting markers for dark backgrounds. They work well on the cover of my moleskine. The effect is more like chalk than paint. Don't expect complete coverage with these.The set I received did not have purple or green as described, but rather orange and white. The white is a good addition, but I would rather have a green than an orange.
The red and pink are as expected. The blue is a lighter shade than you might expect, though this is probably good if you're buying these to work on dark materials.
