This thread was a good, reasonably priced kit for my entry into learning machine embroidery. My first projects were beach towels for teenage girls and they were thrilled with their new towels. All the designs I chose came out nicely with this thread and there was no breaking or fraying. The colors are nice.

It's getting harder and harder to find sewing notions locally, and when I do, they're usually of poor quality. This is a nice way to sample a rainbow of thread colors at an affordable price. I wasn't sure if I needed rayon or polyester thread. Madeira's website offers a handy chart explaining the differences and Amazon sells both kinds. Hooray! These top-of-the-line threads are made in Germany, but assembled in Indonesia.

These are one of the best brand of threads to use on a Brother machine. They are not only good quality they are vibrant and bright and enhance any embroidery project.
