I had these scissors before I had a house fire and lost everything. This is one of the things I wanted to reorder. You never really know what to buy for your house after a fire (besides the obvious)until you need it. As soon as I realized I had forgotten scissors I knew I wanted this same type. I don't just use them for sewing but I cut everything from material to opening plastic packaging and they never get dull. Nice to find quality.
