I use these delicate, beautiful stamps for stamping on my ceramic pieces. I use a very thin painted underglaze on palette paper and press the stamp onto it and then onto my ceramic piece. Let it dry or use hairdryer and then you can put several small bits of color on the butterflies and WOW, this gives that boring ceramic piece new life when it is fired. If you fail, just wipe it off, dry, and do it again.

If you are looking for a nice variety of butterfly stamps, this is good one to choice. Different sizes and different designs on each allow you to make many variations on designs.

I took a chance with this purchase because somebody failed to impart the most important info as far as I'm concerned and that would be the size of individual butterflies. Knowing the overall size of the packaging doesn't help me at all. I need specifics. There are 9 beautiful cling stamps that range in size from 3/4" to a little over 2-1/4". Acrylic stamps should be cleaned with warm soapy water so no need to worry about special stamp cleaner.

Now for some blockbuster info. If you try as hard as I do to save money you will love this. Rather then spending $$ for an acrylic bar to use in stamping (because you do need to stick it onto something) dig out a CD case. The cover takes on a stamp and provides enough of a lip on two sides to hold on to while stamping. To deconstruct a CD case, gently release front from back at the 2 little posts. Pop out the black piece by wedging a smallish screwdriver in crevice at bottom. Entire process will take about 4 seconds. But wait....here's more good news!! Empty CD cases are a fabulous way to store your cling stamps too.

The stamps are very detailed and on the larger stamps, depending on how steady a hand you have, using oval pots with pointed ends (VersaMagic and ColorBox see links) and put several colors on your butterflies.
