Like the other reviews here state, the ink in these pens comes out very slowly. You have to be very careful about the direction of your strokes, or the resulting line will be uneven and blotchy. This is especially hard for me, as I am left-handed and must form all of the strokes backward (up and to the left, instead of down and to the right.) The pens are mostly made of plastic, and look and feel cheap.
However, with some patience, I was able to get some very nice results.
And, at the typical price for these pens, and the wide selection of nibs, this set is a fairly good start if you're interested in trying fountain-pen calligraphy. You will probably soon be looking for a higher-quality pen though.

Exactly what I expected!! Easy to use, beautiful flowing design at your fingertips. Comfortable and affordable. The ink takes a minute or so to reach the tip, but this is how a nib should be supplied for complete control.

These work for what it is. Out of the in-expensive sets this one is about average. To get get one that feels like $100.00, it's going to cost $100.00, this one does the job.

I regret getting these pens the ink from the cartridges take LONG to get to the NIBS which is why I would say I regret getting these pens.. I mean the seller for me was the fact that there were so many size nibs and the cartridges given were of different colours..but other than that i was fooled yet by another product on AMAZON.. & I am a regular AMAZON shopper this is the third so far of products I got on this site that was not up to MARK...
