I design and make jewelry. After looking for blanks to make medical alert jewelry, I purchased a stamp of the caduceus, punched it into metal blanks, then I painted over the punched caduceus, let it dry, and used steel wool to polish off the excess..Voila..medical alert jewelry parts! I plan on doing a lot more of this type of work in my art, so these are ideal for my purposes. You could also use these to refurbish the handles on a stove where the writing was worn off..Cool!

I usually prefer Sakura Solid paint markers, but these are just so great for the money. I have tried them on all surfaces and they all show up great... The yellow and white are pretty much the same as Sakuras, just smaller. That's the only downside... They are a bit small than other paint sticks.

I couldn't find exactly the Sharpie paint pen I wanted at the right price, and saw these paint pens as a recommended item in my Amazon search. They looked like they might be a good alternative.

The word in the item description I seemed to overlook was "Solid"; these things go on like a crayon and are supposed to harden up further. They aren't a true paint pen like the Sharpie paint pen, which I use to write on tires and car parts.

I've tried them on a number of surfaces and they work OK on some, not so well on others. They don't create as durable written surface as the Sharpie competitor.

I've rated these as "OK". It's a decent price for this many colors of paint pens but I won't buy them again.
