The box arrived in perfect condition. I initially wanted the Gelatos because they appeared to be versatile in their uses, including wet and dry use, smudgable with a finger and produce bright color. They can be used with stamps, used to color over images in art journals, to create beautiful backgrounds for cards or journal pages, add touches of color to mixed media paintings and it's possible to cut a bit of the product off the tip, put in a small spray bottle with water and create color sprays. The set of 28 is a bit pricey, but I'm happy with the results I'm getting in my own art journals and mixed media pieces that I feel they are worth the price for me.

I think any crafter or artist would find good use for these colorful pigment tubes. Their consistency is similar to lipstick or chapstick, they glide on substrates nicely, and they can be layered with other products (especially the Faber Castell big brush markers). The brightness of the color was a real draw for me. They don't feel particularly greasy once on the page, but I do spray workable fixative over them to insure the color stays put when I start layering other media.

These Gelatos are wonderful! If you like to work with water colors, and want to try a new type, this is for you. They are creamy and easy to blend, wet or dry. Lots of water color fun!

As an art journaler, I am always looking for new products to experiment with and keep the fun in "arting". These gelatos are awesome to work with!!! Use them dry on dry, dry on wet, wet on wet, wet on dry, mixed with mediums other than water, etc... you get my drift. They take time to learn how they will react with each different application, but that is all part of the fun. They now sit right next to my Neo Color II's as part of my essential ingredients for a page. I initially started with just a sample pack of 4, and am now so excited to get this larger collection. The gelatos are a MUST for anyone who loves to just play and experiment in their sketchbook/art journal.

These are fun. They go on smooth and creamy and melt nicely when water is brushed on. It comes in a nicely decorated case for easy and attractive storage.
