I have a set of these purchased from Pink Feather Knitting. I've had them for about 1 1/2 years and have made several projects with them. The set I have is in a black polka dot cloth case, closing with velcro. It contains needle sizes 2 thru 13 with 8 cables of various lengths. The cables with the connectors store in a (cheap)plastic bag, then in an outside pocket closed with velcro. I thought the case could have been made a little nicer and offered more protection, but it is OK, not great.
The needles are made of bamboo, nice, smooth finish. I have not had any problems with yarn snagging on them as I have had with other needles made of bamboo. The cables screw onto the needles and I have not had them come loose or come apart so far. I am careful to made sure they are pretty tight before I start knitting. The connection is smooth, not rough like some others I have, and the yarn slides right over the joint.
There are 3 sizes of connections, the larger needles have thicker cables and larger "screws" (for lack of a better word). A middle size cable and connector for the middle size needles. I use this size most often. The smallest needles have a small screw and much finer cables. There are 3 connectors to connect 2 cables together, one for each size of cable. I haven't used the connector yet. There is a swivel in the cable connector where it screws onto the needle, this keeps the cables from twisting and I've really enjoyed this feature.
I have enjoyed having and using these needles. I have really liked have such a variety of sizes since the nearest yarn shop is over an hour's drive from my home.
I would purchase these again and would recommend them to my friends. Addi Clic is the set I dream of owning some day, but the KA Interchangeables are very nice and were quite a bit cheaper. I feel they are a good product and worth the money.
