don't used cardstock! Which is what i wanted it for... you have to stop what you're doing and dig it out somehow... i bought two... and the first time using both i had to unscrew and take it apart to get the damn cut out out of the product... it would be nice if you could just open it to get it out but nope... and the instructions says to use thin paper .... i tried the cover of a magazine, and that still got stuck inside the machine... not worth it to me...

I bought this to decorate our wine themed wedding invitations.

It cuts finer (under 100 gr/m2) paper like a knife with no effort and makes beautiful embossing. I tried it with paper close to 200gr/m2 and it still cut through; I had to push harder though and the embossing wasn't quite as nice,but still came out. Unfortunately, my choice of paper fell upon a very fine fiber silk paper to achieve natural look but the blades were not sharp enough to cut through. So I ended up cutting out each leaf by hand (only around the tips of the leaflets), which was a bummer. The edges came out as looking rather torn than cut.

Therefore, I would recommend this product for use with regular paper up to 200gr/m2 if you do not wish to fuss with the cutting. The longer side measures 60 mm.
