Ok, I have to tell you this is cute. I bought it solely to hang out with my ironing board. Good thing too, because it is too shallow. This needs to be double the thickness if you want to use it as your regular pin cushion. So what is it good for?
It sits in its own dedicated shallow plastic basket that rests on my ironing board. No more sticking the pins in the ironing board or bringing my regular cushion there and forgetting to take it back with me when I return to the sewing table. After a day of sewing and ironing various pieces, I simply put all of the pins back into my regular large pin cushion. BTW you are going to have to sip the straight pins in on their sides, other wise they are going to stick out the bottom.

I love this pin cushion. It's big enough to be useful, nice and flat, so it doesn't roll around, and cute. I like useful items which are also attractive, and this qualifies.

Was much smaller than I thought it was. Cannot stick pins straight in without hitting the bottom but if you use the edges, place pins at an angle or don't push them all the way in it works great.

This is an adorable little pin cushion. A little shallow, so you have to stick your pins in slightly sideways, but the cuteness makes up for it. I am pleased with it overall.
