I am a watercolor painter and was recently introduced to M Graham watercolor paints. They are excellent. The colors are vivid and long lasting, true to specs. They are made with honey which helps to hold the pigment. I love the results I get a very little dab of these colors goes a long way. They retain their brightness on paper.r. The newest quinacradone rust is like copper in a water color pigment. Bright, glowing. I love these paints.

Honest reviews on M. Graham 1/2-Ounce Tube Watercolor Paint Set, Quinacridone Quintet
I have to admit that when I was browsing Amazon.com looking for new brushes and tube pigments as well, that the name of this set of watercolors really caught my eye. I could hardly wait to squeeze out that Quinacridone Rust color as I had been looking for just that richness in hue. I was not disappointed. As my art friends continued to work on their latest paintings, I sat there just squeezing out pigments from the other colors--nickel , violet, rose, red--indulging myself in an orgy of color experimenting as I like to do. Why don't you try them yourself? These pigments will inspire you to create all kinds of lovely surprises and isn't that how painting with watercolor rewards you? Happy dabbling to you.

I love these paints. While they do appear to be a wee bit thinner than Winsor & Newton watercolours, a little goes a very long way. These colors are intense and rich, great alone, for glazing or mixing. While it may seem expensive for the new or struggling artist, it is an expense well worth treating yourself to.
