The description claims that the thread is included, it is not. What they mean to say is that the directions include thread directions. I should have known that for that price it was too good to be true. I like the pattern, but the instructions are not easy to follow and not very descriptive. I had to research on the internet on how to do most of the quilting.

But I do like the fabric, and the stamped cross stitch. So I rate it average.

I am giving this kit four stars, because the instructions are VERY hard to figure out. Most of them very unclear in their color numbers. I have never seen anything like it and I've done a lot of embroidery in many decades. The instructions hard to find an unclear. I know I'll end up just using my imagination.

These quilt tops are great for gifts once they are all done. People enjoy them so much as they are special made and not many people do this anymore. They also make great wall hangings.
