I completed this kit for my mother-in-law about eight years ago. Every time I see it hanging on her wall I am reminded of how much I enjoyed working it. I had never worked on grey cloth before and I found it a welcomed change from the ecru I normally use. The kit came with the threads unmarked so some of the shades were a little hard to distinguish. I certainly wouldn't consider that a deal breaker though. The chart is in color so it's very easy on the eyes. I am a pretty confident cross-stitcher and finished this project in less than four months working a few hours a night. I would guess that a beginner would find this project challenging but very much worth the effort and an experienced stitcher could finish rather quickly. This piece is just lovely and I think it has the potential to become a cherished keepsake for generations.

I love this version of the Guardian Angle. But it will take me a very long time to finish it.

i've done this pattern in the past and loved it so much i sought it out to purchase as i couldn't find it in the store...nice patter turns out well.
