I was not very familiar with what to do in order to purchase an airbrush and compressor. I spent many years looking at the different types, and finally wound up buying an Aztec made by Testors. I quickly found that the brush didn't do what I wanted to. It was limited in the size of the needle, having one of those types of nozzles which you can "change" the head by, actually having to purchase many different needles. The compressor wasn't up to par as it didn't have an on off valve which could compress and then fill a tank. The "self" cleaning system it supposedly possessed didn't clean heavy paints that well, and all in all the system was not what I needed.
Then came the second notion I had. I thought, "why not attempt another try at this", and once again went back to researching what would be best for my needs. This time I didn't just look at functionality, but versatility in the size of the output of paint, the accuracy of the brush, the design to fit my various needs, and very importantly, the best price for getting all three.
Instantly I noticed how the Badger brushes were made in the United States Of America only, and completely out of METAL. There was no "plastic" pieces like you find with other brushes. The 360 can be gravity fed as well as fed through the cup from the top, side or anyway you need it, without the need to worry about how you are going to approach a paint job. I don't know how many times I found myself wondering just how I could set my hand in a position in which the feed bottle wouldn't get in the way. The compressor package which came with this unit was enough of a compressor to do any job I needed to do, and many times I find that the tank fills up with air, the machine goes off, and I paint without having to hear the motor running too much, as there is always the chance that a compressor can overheat.
Lastly, I was a little worried about "cleaning" and maintaining this airbrush, because in doing so you do have to perform a little maintenance in keeping her clean. No worries though, there is a video which,
